Green Infrastructure and the Art of Persuasion – Sitelines article by Shasta McCoy
Sitelines is a bi-monthly newsletter, published by the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA). It features news, commentary, and historical information, while celebrating milestones and accomplishments associated with both landscape architectural practice and its larger context. In the October edition, Shasta McCoy, a Landscape Architect from our Nelson office, is a featured contributor. Shasta discusses the bioswale and how it is a favourite tool for disconnecting pavement from catch basins, for integrating habitat into the urban fabric and for separating motorized travel from non-motorized modes – is a solution that is almost always met with suspicion and misconceptions.
