We prepared the first Master Plan for the Renfrew Ravine and Community Park in Vancouver. The park is unique environmentally, containing portions of Still Creek, one of the last remaining visible creeks in Vancouver. The parks are also the focus of dynamic cultural events and stewardship activities organized by the Still Moon Arts Society. The goal of the master plan was to improve recreational and educational opportunities, while protecting and enhancing the ecological integrity of the parks. The process involved extensive engagement with the community and local stakeholders. The final Master Plan protects the valued features of both parks and adds new elements for recreation, environmental enhancement and nature education.
