Trinity Development Group had proposed to develop the area known as the Winsport Eastlands. The development is a high density, varied land-use proposal for the site with different densities than those proposed within the original approved ASP. One of the key off-site improvements was the upgrade of the existing at-grade intersection at the Trans-Canada Highway and Bowfort Road NW to a fully grade separated interchange. We worked with the developer and The City of Calgary to revisit the approved functional design to develop a new solution that would work with the recent changes that had occurred along the corridor.
