Urban Systems worked to prepare integrated stormwater management plans for six of its watersheds. These watersheds exhibit the impacts of widely varying degrees of development, with suburban, urban, commercial and industrial land uses, often in close proximity to prime forest and wetlands. Each of the planning processes included hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, hydrogeologic assessment, biophysical inventory and assessments, and formulation of strategies to address stormwater quantity and quality issues. An overall implementation plan, including a combined capital improvement plan, was completed in March 2008.
