Tsleil-Waututh Nation Land Economics Workshop

Our Land Economics team led a workshop with The Tsleil-Waututh Nation Council on the subject of the value of highest and best use studies in order to make better development decisions. The workshop included a step by step review of how a highest and best use study is completed, and examples of how these types of analyses could be of use to the Tsleil-Waututh Nation as they make long-term master planning decisions. Specific examples of demand for a new grocery store and gas station were reviewed to explain how those types of land uses are assessed.
