Urban has worked closely with Indigenous communities to tackle climate change challenges, focusing on both mitigation and adaptation. The Climate Change and Community Energy team has led efforts to envision and plan for a sustainable, cost-effective energy landscape. Leveraging expertise in community engagement, Urban has supported local initiatives for cleaner energy. Urban has also helped develop human capital in these communities by recruiting, hiring, and building capacity for energy navigators, empowering locals to lead in creating a greener future.
