These are definitely challenging and dynamic times. As a valued partner, our personal connection to you and our work together is truly important to us. As you know businesses are greatly modifying their services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to you to share details of how we plan to continue to collaborate with you in the coming weeks and months ahead. We also wanted to assure you that you’ll continue to receive the same high level of services that you depend on from Urban Systems.
Urban is here to support communities
Yes, the way we forge ahead with our work will be different, but we are “here” (sitting at our kitchen tables and home offices practicing social distancing) to work side-by-side (virtually) and to find new ways to help move your projects forward. As the negative social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to increase locally and around the world, we feel it is perhaps more important than ever before to be supporting our communities with the plans and projects that will keep them moving forward in the face of this current adversity. We are well prepared to help you address challenges, and to seize opportunities, in the weeks and months to come.
We are continuing to work our normal hours (most of us remotely) and we have put great measures in place to ensure that our work with you occurs as normal as possible despite this shift in the way we have traditionally worked.
Should you find yourself challenged to meet project timelines or availability, know that we are flexible. We understand that this is a stressful and unprecedented time for everyone, and we don’t want you to feel pressured to act as if nothing is wrong.
This is a dynamic situation
With daily updates from all levels of government, changes are happening with little to no advanced notice. We will do our best to keep everyone informed of any further changes to our schedule, projects, or events. If you have any imminent concerns, again, please do not hesitate to reach out.
While more people are going into self-isolation and news coverage is dominated with negativity, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for partnering with us over the years and to offer you our support. We are stronger together, even if that ‘together’ is currently through a screen. A huge thank you goes out to all of those working tirelessly on the front lines to battle this virus and better this situation for all of us. In time, our communities will become vibrant again.
