Carrington Developments

The community of Carrington is a 580-acre development in the western part of the Keystone Hills Area Structure Plan. This area consists of property owned by Mattamy Homes, Genstar Development Company and H3 Developments. Urban was kept collectively and individually by these developers to pursue infrastructure and grading solutions for the development. The main challenges facing the project included a shortage a fill material in the low-lying lands, offsite sanitary trunk sewer requirements and Growth Management Overlay (GMO) removal. Urban was first engaged in 2010 to provide planning and engineering services and we are currently involved in subdivision development for all three developers. This project has led to a united community through the coordination of three developers with Urban systems at the center, linking them together.
